JM Real Estate, Inc.’s
7 Golden Rules
of Property Management
- Tenants are the most important people in the management business.
- Tenants are not dependent on management. Management is dependent on tenants.
- Tenants are not an interruption of the manager’s work, but the purpose of it.
- Tenants do management a favor by choosing to lease in their building. Management isn’t doing the tenants
a favor by allowing them to lease there.
- Tenants go to the property manager with problems. It is the manager’s job to do something bout those problems.
- Tenants are not just a source of money. They are the life’s blood of management’s business and they have the
right to be treated with respect.
- Tenants deserve courteous service. Without tenants, managers would have vacancies and there would be no
money to pay their salaries. Managers should never forget this.
